Impregilo closes the first six months of the year with revenues of 1,23 billion euros (+23% compared to the same period of 2011), an Ebit of 12,7 million (-72%) with an overall impact on revenues of '1% (8,5%). The net loss was 29,2 million (-68%). Net financial debt amounted to 507,2 million, down from 527,14 million at the end of 2011 and the debt/equity ratio was 0,43 (from 0,42).

On the operating result, according to a note released yesterday evening, the Construction sectors (in the red for 12,9 million) and Plants (-20,7 million) made a negative contribution, while the Concessions sector showed a positive result for 48 million. The results of the Construction segment were affected in particular by the critical issues relating to the expansion of the Panama Canal and to some projects in Colombia.

The Group has revised the estimates for 2012 and forecasts overall growth in consolidated revenues, consolidated operating profitability of approximately 5% and a Debt/Equity ratio of 0,5. During the board meeting, the refocusing on the core construction activities of large infrastructural works, the adoption of a new organizational model, the study of a strategic collaboration agreement with the Salini Group and the disposal of non-core assets were also examined.
