Impregilo is in pole position for the construction of the new Desmond Bridge in California, whose adjudication process is still ongoing. The managing director Alberto Rubegni said on the sidelines of the meeting of Impregile it. The offer presented by the Italian group, in consortium with the Spanish FCC and an American company, for now has obtained the best evaluation (“best value”) for the awarding of the works for the new Californian bridge.

Always today directors of the company have been appointed Barbara Poggiali, Alfredo Scotti and Nigel W. Cooper, despite the negative vote of Salini and the abstention of the Amber fund in the vote on Cooper, former director of Parmalat. The three new entries come after the resignations of Giovanni Castellucci, Fabio Cerchiai and Nicola Fallica. Salini is in the running for control of the group together with Gavio. Today, according to what emerged from the shareholders' register the Roman group rose to Present in several = 29,234% compared to the previous share of 29,185%. The Piedmontese family however, through Igli, holds 29,959%.
