It was bought by Donatella Versace "La Verbanella", one of the most prestigious and famous villas on Lake Maggiore, better known as Villa Mondadori. The Villa a Meina would have been sold for a figure close to five million euros. This was reported by sources close to the sale.

The Villa was bought by the Mondadori family in the XNUMXs, Walt Disney and George Simenon are just two of the many illustrious names it has hosted. In fact, Arnoldo Mondadori opened the doors of the Villa to friends and writers, including Thomas Mann, Eugenio Montale and Giuseppe Ungaretti, who signed their signatures on the wall above the fireplace during their stay. The signatures of some of the best writers of the last century are still impressed on the wall today, bearing witness to the glorious past of Villa Mondadori.
