iM Global Partner and Eurizon have signed a management agreement of the Japanese equity fund of the Oyster range delegated to Eurizon – the asset management company of the Intesa Sanpaolo Group – starting from 1 September 2020. Currently, the fund has more than 40 billion yen (about 324 million euro) of assets under management.
Eurizon also announces that it has strengthened its equity team with the entry of Joël Le Saux, historical fund manager, and analyst Yoko Otsuka.
Saverio Perissinotto, CEO of Eurizon underlines how “the considerable experience and deep knowledge of the Japanese market that these experts bring with them will be a push for further consolidation of Eurizon's capabilities in equity investments”. “Their arrival – continued Perissinotto – will further increase the range of skills at an international level of the Eurizon management team and will also allow us to diversify and expand the product range, to the benefit of all our customers”.
