Ilva: Government accelerates, Intesa Sanpaolo reopens credit line

Intesa Sanpaolo reopens credit lines for Ilva. This was announced by some sources from Palazzo Chigi, following this morning's summit for the presidency of the council, held under the leadership of Matteo Renzi. A summit which, again according to the sources, meant that, for the first time, all the parties involved reached "a shared line", reaching a "real turning point".

Going in order, the reopening of credit by the institute led by Messina towards the steel company consists of a line of around 200 million. In the meeting, however, something else also emerged, namely the need to speed up the conversion of the decree.

Another crucial point is that of related industries, which would receive heavy benefits from the operation, especially on the employment front, while from an environmental point of view the route is subject to the rules established by The Hague. The next meeting on the Ilva law will be held next week.
