During the meeting it was decided to convene a negotiating table dedicated to Taranto and Ilva with on the agenda what has already been requested with a specific letter from the Mayor to the Minister before the institutional meeting of last November 16 at the Mise.

The Mayor has confirmed that upon receiving the formal summons, he will be available to withdraw the appeal to the Tar, after consultation on the matter also with the Governor Emiliano.

The agenda will include: “analysis of the DPCM environmental plan and check for possible improvements; sharing the schedule of early coverage of primary parks; management and assessment of health damage; management of the activity of the Taranto social fund; measures for related industries; sharing of the remediation plan under the responsibility of the extraordinary administration; establishment of a Research and Development center on steel and carbon-free technologies”.
