Surprisingly, the ministry announces that no auction of medium/long-term securities will be held. No change instead as regards the annual bots.
The Ministry of the Economy and Finance cancels the auction of medium and long-term government bonds. Here is the text of the official press release:
“Il MEF he announces that, given the large availability of cash and the current reduced financing needs, he will not hold the auctions of medium/long-term securities in mid-August. The auction of BOT instead, it will be held regularly".
