The yield on Spanish government bonds climbed back to 6%, after falling below 4 in August

On August 5, the ECB had expressed its intention to buy Italian and Spanish government bonds. Since then the yield on Madrid's Bonos had fallen below 4%. Today the rate climbed back to 6% for the first time

The yield on Spanish government bonds climbed back to 6%, after falling below 4 in August

For the first time since last August 5, or since the European Central Bank announced its intention to purchase Italian and Spanish government bonds, the yield on Iberian ten-year bonds has risen to 6%. In mid-August, the Spanish Treasury had placed bonds worth almost six billion, with interest rates below 4%.
