The Company Register is ready to be told to the world. From today, the certificates and chamber of commerce registrations have added their Italian version to the English version, thus enriching the offer of official documents that can be requested from the register of companies of the Italian Chambers of Commerce created and managed by InfoCamere.
The project is part of the so-called "Destination Italy" decree which aims to create measures to encourage investment in Italy by foreign companies and, on the other hand, facilitate the reception of Italian companies in foreign economies. The Ministry of Economic Development coordinated the preparation of the new certificate models and the related decree was published in the Official Gazette of 4 October. Italian companies engaged in import-export activities will thus be facilitated when providing the documentation required by foreign authorities.
The possibility of obtaining a certificate in English at the Chamber of Commerce counter or on the registries.it portal, without having to use a sworn translation, effectively saves the company both in terms of time and costs. Furthermore, according to that established by the decree law, the use of the certificate in English in a foreign country will be exempt from stamp duty.
In the wake of the certificate, the English version also makes its debut for the chamber of commerce registration, thus further facilitating access to the information contained in the Business Register to a foreign operator wishing to know the legal situation and the main economic information of a company of the beautiful country. A further advantage of the new certificates in English is the presence on the first page of the "QR Code", the new identification code of the official documents of the Chambers of Commerce.
