The director general of the Bank of Italy, Salvatore Rossi, is the winner of the twelfth edition of the "Donato Menichella" award for socio-economic studies.
The award ceremony, promoted by the Fondazione Nuove Proposte, took place this morning in the "Giovanni Spadolini" Senate Library. Rossi held the lectio magistralis on "State, market, development".
The laudatio of the winner was held by the president of Rai. Anna Maria Tarantula.
The Testimony of New Proposals Award reserved for institutions previously awarded the "Donato Menichella" Award was conferred for their cultural commitment to the Bcc of Cambiano, Banca Carime, the Bcc of San Marzano di San Giuseppe, Credito Valtellinese, Banca Popolare di Cortona and Co. Fidi of Puglia.
