The Panettone d'Elite that combines the flavors of Italy: 75 leavened masters worked on it

From May to today, 75 masters of leavened products from all over Italy have worked as a team, discussing each other, testing the raw materials, studying together in the laboratory, to arrive at the composition of a Panettone to be proposed for the Christmas holidays that could encompass all the peculiarities of a product of Italian origin and processing and the Made in Italy gastronomic excellence. This is how Gusto Élite was born: the panettone that unites all of Italy.

Its ingredients: mandarin and orange from Sicilia, cedar from Calabria, lemons from Campania, honey from Lazio, eggs fromEmilia Romagna, butter from Puglia, sugar from Veneto, flour from Lombardia.

It is the latest challenge of the Artisan Panettone Elite, a club that brings together the excellent artisans of Italy in the sector who share a code of ethics and the will to spread and enhance the culture of a product made in a workmanlike manner.

The result is a fresh and delicate citrus panettone. Each leavened product is made with the same all-Italian ingredients and with the same processing methods but, at the same time, as with any artisanal production, each product retains its uniqueness, as it is obtained with experience, dexterity andThe fresh sourdough that distinguishes and makes the work of each individual craftsman unique.

“Il Gusto Élite wants to be our dedication to all the Italian victories this year. It is therefore a 100% made in Italy panettone. – commented Massimiliano Dell'Aera, creator and president of the Élite del Panettone Artigianale – This is only the first of the panettone that our club has the idea of launching annually during the holidays, but for this first taste we thought it was right to start with tradition, and therefore precisely with a traditional panettone but revisited to be totally Italian, thus renouncing to use ingredients not available in national production, such as raisins and vanillaa, but choosing the best that our land offers.

Each artisan then has his own secret ingredient: his own sourdough, the basic element for the production of an artisanal panettone, which makes it light and digestible but at the same time unique. I am very proud of what is being done with the group. – he added – There is sharing and a continuous exchange of ideas, each craftsman contributes to the growth of the network by making his experience available humbly and without hesitation”.

Panettone Gusto Élite will be recognizable by the brand applied on its packaging and can be purchased from 19 November 2021 at these merchants.
