New route for Venice Simplon Orient Express, the legendary train that inspired Agata Christie in one of her most famous yellows, that Murder on the Orient Express whose source of inspiration was precisely a journey by the writer on the train, which remained blocked for 10 days thus fueling her creative vein . Today the property belongs to Belmond hotel group, which once a year also dusts off the classic tour that takes you from Venice to Istanbul, wandering through Europe and also reaching London: from this year the convoy, made up of 17 art deco carriages, set up between 1926 and 1931 and today lovingly restored, it will also pass through Berlin.

The classic itinerary travels across Europe in breathtaking scenery, following in the footsteps of the famous train that ended its journey at the end of the 2016s: from XNUMX it will therefore connect three historic capitals of the continent, London, Paris and Berlin, as well as Budapest, Krakow and Switzerland. The maiden voyage of the new route is scheduled for 2 June, departing from London: two days and one night, plus an overnight stay in the German capital, to then return on the 4th to London or straight to Paris.
