He is full professor of Economics and Industrial Policy at the University of Parma, where he holds the "Jean Monnet Chair". Among his books, we mention: The metamorphosis of the “Emilian Model”. History, evolution, perspectives (Il Mulino 2017, edited by, in collaboration with F. Montella); The New European Industrial Policy.
