Milan treats Diego Costa, Inter wants Martial

The Chelsea centre-forward repudiated by Conte is the goal of the Rossoneri who consider Kalinic as a second choice, viable only if they settle Bacca first – Inter would like to swap Perisic for Martial (on loan plus 50 million) but Manchester United are cold

Milan treats Diego Costa, Inter wants Martial

Milan's Mister X could be Diego Costa. This is the latest name circulating in the bombastic AC Milan transfer market, now focused on the search for a top attacking player. The Spaniard is not the first on the list but given the difficulties in reaching Belotti and Aubameyang he could sensationally climb the rankings. Fassone and Mirabelli are thinking about it, if only for a question of price: in fact, Chelsea must necessarily sell him, especially after having spent 85 million for Morata, and would not oppose the resistance of Turin and Borussia Dortmund.

The Milan executives flew to London to test the waters and will now make the necessary assessments, without however the haste of the last few weeks. In fact, now the Rossoneri want to sift through the market calmly and manage the latest purchases on their own terms, perhaps hoping that time will end up playing in their favour.

Belotti remains the first objective, Aubameyang the second, but since yesterday Diego Costa has also officially entered the list, all without forgetting Kalinic who, however, seems more linked to the sale of Bacca. The Colombian, now a separate player at home, already has an agreement in principle with Marseille, but the same cannot be said of Milan who reject the idea of a loan deal with the right to buy.

A thorny situation, to be managed with caution: going to the break does not suit anyone and who knows if Sevilla, without a shadow of a doubt the player's favorite destination, will take care of untangling it. Hot days also at Inter, where they are working to finally resolve the Perisic case. Spalletti spoke clearly: the Croatian can only leave in the event of a suitable offer both from an economic and a technical point of view.

The Nerazzurri's request for 50 million plus Martial's loan (with the right to buy) is not liked by Manchester United, however, who are not convinced of depriving themselves of the young French talent but also of spending so much money. Waiting to understand who will win the tug of war, the purchase of Vecino is about to be closed, arriving from Fiorentina for 24 million.
