Milan saves Inzaghi who will have Destro and Bocchetti. The loose cannon of Cassano

Milan lose again but Inzaghi is saved. This is the response that comes from the night of San Siro, where Berlusconi and Galliani, despite the burning elimination from the Italian Cup, have decided to reconfirm the coach. However, trust is temporary, in the sense that results will never be more fundamental than now. Even the last goal of the season has faded, in fact Inzaghi can no longer make mistakes: should the victory also be missing on Sunday against Parma, the exemption would become inevitable.

“I'm going my own way, if it were up to me I'd stay on this bench for life – explained Superpippo after the 0-1 draw with Lazio, the result of a penalty from Biglia in the 38th minute of the first half. – Ferguson won his first title after seven years and even Mancini, currently the guru of coaches in Serie A, has his problems. I don't feel desperate, I know that Milan will be reborn." Who knows, maybe the market might lend a hand, where the Rossoneri seem to have finally woken up.

Adriano Galliani (yesterday heavily contested by the Curva Sud) is one step away from Mattia Destro, whose purchase could become official in the next few hours. The attacker would arrive on an expensive loan (700 thousand euros) with the right to buy out (16 million), a formula that satisfies Roma (in the meantime close to one between Luiz Adriano and Konoplyanka) but a little less so for the player, who would prefer a transfer outright. However, the prospect of being on the yellow and red bench should convince him to accept, which is why soon, if there are no upheavals, he will reach the Milanello sports centre.

Destro won't be the only reinforcement on the winter transfer market. In fact, Galliani has also closed for Salvatore Bocchetti, central defender (left-back if necessary) of Spartak Moscow, who is also arriving on loan with the right to buy and has already been in Milan since yesterday evening ("I'm happy to be here" his words in Linate). And then there's the usual work in progress with Genoa, inevitable in every self-respecting session: this time the Rossoneri CEO and his friend Preziosi are setting up an exchange between Armero and Antonelli. Finally, a telephone contact is recorded with Adel Taarabt, already at Milan in the second half of last season.

The Qpr playmaker has never hidden his desire to return and El Shaarawy's injury, out at least until April, could definitely help him. Zamparini's revelation was also interesting: "The Rossoneri are negotiating with Munoz but I don't intend to give him away." The Argentine centre-back's contract is about to expire and he has no intention of renewing it, which is why he ended up on the sidelines of the squad: Milan are negotiating him for June and are hoping to convince Palermo to anticipate his arrival.

The market is also raging at Inter. Mancini asked Thohir for a defender and a central midfielder: the hot names are those of Murillo from Granada and Lassana Diarra from Lokomotiv Moscow. The first has in fact already been taken for June (9 million) but Ausilio is trying to convince Pozzo to bring forward the operation, a hypothesis that doesn't fully convince the Spaniards, who are still hunting for a replacement. For the Malian (French passport), however, developments are expected shortly, with the player pressing to resolve a negotiation on standby for over a month.

On the exit front, the Nerazzurri have to settle the Osvaldo issue: the attacker could end up at Juventus, whose attempt to reach Zaza was wrecked by the resistance of Sassuolo. "We need him, I won't give him up" Squinzi let it be known, effectively freezing Marotta's hopes. Who, as previously mentioned, is now betting decisively on Osvaldo or, alternatively, on Pazzini, however linked to the Destro operation (by the way, Parma also has the "Pazzo" behind).

In the meantime the Pogba-mania continues: now it's Manchester City's turn, according to the English tabloids ready to offer Jovetic more (a lot) money. The speech obviously applies to June, when it will be really difficult to keep the Frenchman. Closure dedicated to Ferrero's Sampdoria, increasingly unleashed: the Sampdoria number one, after making Eto'o official, also took Paletta from Parma. The same club from which Cassano released himself, now looking for a team. Turin, Bologna and Bari like Fantantonio a lot, but watch out for Juventus: the Bianconeri are looking for a quality tip and Allegri's words (“he's a strong player, we'll evaluate”) could turn out to be anything but casual. Soon we will know…
