Milan sinks even at home (2-4): Cassano and Parma conquer San Siro

An endless meltdown. Milan continues its vertical descent towards the underworld of the lower rankings, but this is nothing new. Instead, the protest of the Rossoneri people is fierce, angry, total. Mario Balotelli and Adriano Galliani, as expected on the eve they were the targets of the Curva Sud: both were invited to pack their bags as soon as possible, albeit in different ways. In fact, the CEO was at least spared the insults, which instead rained down on the attacker. A heavy dispute, but all in all announced. And then the match against Parma certainly didn't help to calm spirits, quite the contrary.

Not even 5 minutes and Milan are already down. Blame the Rossoneri defence, which lost Schelotto and Abbiati, author of an unfortunate outing which cost him the red card (sacrosanct) and a penalty against. Cassano, ex always fischiatissimo, displaces Amelia (entered in place of Essien) and Parma is already ahead. Milan, already dazed by the hostile environment of the San Siro, tried to react without much conviction. Balotelli hits the post after Mirante was beaten, Kakà and Poli set up a good action but Montolivo thwarted it all with a botched cross. But Parma are decidedly more of a team and whenever they look around Amelia they are in pain. On 26' Bonera saves on Biabiany with a sure shot, on 43' Mexes even touches the own goal.

Thus the first half ends amid boos from the Rossoneri, who save only Kakà, Poli, De Jong, Bonera, Abbiati and Pazzini from the general dispute. The second half continues on the same canvas and in the 51st minute Cassano doubles his lead with a nice right foot that beats Amelia. Seedorf, also spared from the fury of the San Siro, tries the Rami card in place of the unpresentable Emanuelson and the move works. In the 56th minute the Frenchman shortened the distance with a close-range header, effectively reopening the game. The next 20 minutes are the best for Milan, who at least try to grab Parma, even getting some (shy) applause. In the 75th minute Obi lands in the Montolivo area, Celi whistles the penalty that Balotelli makes no mistake.

However, the ambitions of a comeback are immediately extinguished by Amauri, who 2 minutes later brings the ducals forward with a splendid backheel. The match ends here and Biabiany's goal (96') is just enough for the scoreboards, as well as to give Milan another volley of insults. Needless to talk about goals and Europe, the Rossoneri just have to hope that the season ends as soon as possible. Then it will be revolution, total. After yesterday there is no turning back.
