Milan beat Inter 2-1, won their first derby and won the Super Cup in Beijing

Inter dominated the first half and took the lead through Sneijder but in the second half Ibrahimovic and Boateng (after a Pato post) overturned the result and gave Milan their first superderby of the season and the Super Cup – China doesn't bring luck to the nerazzurri.

The cabal is always right. The Olympic stadium in Beijing does not bring luck to Inter and so it was this time too in the final of the Italian Super Cup which in fact goes to Milan. It is the sixth time that the Rossoneri have won the trophy. The second half was decisive when Ibrahimovic and Boateng (who quickly caught Pato's post as soon as he entered) overturned the result and above all the balance on the pitch. In the first half Inter started very strong, they dominated the pitch and found the goal through Sneijder, perhaps in his last performance for the Nerazzurri before flying away to Manchester. Milan waited for Gasperini's Inter to run out of energy and started a counterattack with two overwhelming actions that determined the result. Inter in debt of oxygen and unnerved by the reversal of the situation ended up losing lucidity and also the game. It must be said that the nerazzurri were rather rearranged but the tactical solutions and the changes made in the second half by the new trainer Gasperini didn't seem flawless. Therefore, the first derby and the first trophy of the season went to Allegri's Milan. And now off to the final sprint of the transfer market and the countdown to the start of the championship.
