For the 2019/2020 school year, the Ministry has announced the competition "La Cittadinanza del Mare". "Aware of the sea and the environment, guardians for the conservation and enhancement of a vital asset for the planet, as well as speakers of a culture of which, historically and traditionally, the sea is the bearer" is the summary of the Ministry which we hope will find the consensus of young people. The schools can participate with elaboratei of reflection su : how to become a citizen of the sea, the sea as a source of life and driving force for the economy, legality and the sea; the protection of the marine ecosystem, pleasure boating, transport by sea, experiencing the sea in safety, responsible fishing, sailing and water sports. Literary-type papers (articles, essays, stories, poems) can consist of a maximum of 5 folders. The artistic ones can be drawings, posters, photos, collages, made with any tool or technique and of a multimedia type such as videos, songs, podcasts, commercials for a maximum duration of 5 minutes. The work will be judged by a Commission made up of representatives of the Ministry of Education and the Command of the Port Authorities - Coast Guard. The award ceremony will be held on 7 April 2020 on the eve of the summer season which usually stimulates "adult" associations and artists to speak and represent the sea.
