A new disturbance is bringing the Northern Italy. The intense rainfall of the last few hours has caused disruption almost everywhere, especially in Parma where first the Ozzanello bridge partially collapsed, over the Sporzana stream, which connects the territories of Fornovo di Taro and Terenzo, then a bridge in the hamlet of Marzolara, in the Municipality of Calestano. There is also someone missing in the river that crosses the city: a man would have been spotted at the mercy of the strong current. But also to Piacenza the situation is quite critical: in the morning some streams overflowed in Mareto, a hamlet of the Municipality of Farini, where mud and water invaded the streets. So much so that several families were evacuated and the Ferriere, Ponte dell'Olio and Bettola bridges were closed. The situation of the Nure river (a tributary of the Po) between Ferriere, Farini and Bettola is also critical, while the Trebbia river, at the moment, does not cause concern. In the city of Parma, the Carrettieri Bridge and the Navetta Bridge were closed as a precaution. The situation is also critical in the rest of Northern Italy: the alert is orange Veneto, Liguria, Lombardia, Friuli-Venezia Giulia e Toscana. Yellow alert instead Piemonte, Umbria e Trentino Alto Adige.

Bad weather forced the chiusura of different schools in 19 municipalities in the Parma area: Albareto, Bardi, Bedonia, Berceto, Bore, Borgo val di Taro, Compiano, Corniglio, Fornovo, Langhirano, Lesignano Bagni, Monchio delle Corti, Palanzano, Solignano, Terenzo, Tizzano, Tornolo, Varano melegari, Varsi. Furthermore, until November 31st, a red alert has been issued for river floods in the provinces of Piacenza and Parma and for landslides and floods in the smaller rivers in the provinces of Piacenza, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Modena and Bologna. The weather warning will continue until tomorrow, Tuesday XNUMX October Milano and throughout the Lombardia.
