The Louvre, Verdone, Villaggio and the Artists' Exchange on FIRST Arte

Rich menu for the weekend on FIRST Art, the FIRSTonline magazine dedicated to the world of art, culture and cinema. The column of our Patrizio Rossano on the world of film, ABìCinema, has reached the letter V, therefore unfortunately almost at the end: in this episode the first conflictual relationship between cinema and video games is investigated, without forgetting the contaminations and how many films have drawn inspiration from video games and vice versa, from the Matrix, to Alien to Raiders of the Lost Ark. And with the letter V we cannot fail to mention great protagonists such as Visconti, Vitti, Verdone, and Paolo Villaggio.

In terms of exhibitions, on the occasion of the complete renovation of the Ordrupgaard Museum in Copenhagen, the impressionist masterpieces of Cézanne, Degas, Gauguin, Manet, Monet and many other artists of the French pictorial scene will be the protagonists of an international review in the city of Padua until January 27, 2019.

Marika Lion instead takes us to the (re)discovery of the Louvre: “I've visited the Louvre countless times, perhaps every time I've returned to Paris, and I haven't finished getting to know it yet. Today I went back and like the first time and I feel Parisian, but I'm not alone, I know I experience the same emotions as all the people who enter this cathedral of magnificence. While the splendid Victory of Samothrace welcomes me”.

The Borsino degli Artisti is instead this time dedicated to Mimmo Rotella, the inventor of “epistaltic” poetry.
