The Mondadori award with the maxi-compensation that Fininvest owes to Cir scares Milan

by Federico Bertone – Tomorrow Berlusconi will talk about the future of the club at Milanello: the arrival of new partners is not excluded – Juve on Pepito and Vidal – During the week Inter decide for Sneijder at Manchester United – Lamela is from Roma, Inler from Naples – Sanchez and Pastore remain the objects of desire abroad but also in Italy

THE MONDADORI AWARD SCARES AC MILAN.
WHAT IF BERLUSCONI LOOKED FOR SHAREHOLDERS?

The maxi compensation that Fininvest will have to pay to Cir risks overwhelming Milan as well. In fact, the Rossoneri club is 100% controlled by the Berlusconi family holding company, which is why the sentence of the Milan Court of Appeal (Fininvest will have to pay 560 million euros in compensation to Carlo De Benedetti's Cir for the Mondadori award) if not problems, it will bring at least some headaches. “What is not good for Fininvest is not good for the team – Adriano Galliani said on Saturday – but I know how much Berlusconi loves Milan. That's why I'm absolutely sure he will make every effort to keep him at the top of football." Yes, but many are starting to think that the Premier could look around for some sort of "help". Foreign investors (Russians? Sheikhs?), who have already approached Milan in the past (remember last year's rumors about Gazprom?) willing to buy some shares in the company. Berlusconi would still remain honorary president (as well as a shareholder), but the majority would belong to someone else. For now only hypotheses, even if from Palazzo Grazioli, the usual well-informed tell of a Premier who is very worried about the future of Milan. In this sense, the meeting will never be more eagerly awaited, given that tomorrow the Rossoneri will officially start the 2011/2012 season, and Silvio Berlusconi will be at Milanello for the first day of school. Obviously he will hold a press conference with Galliani, in which he will also (if not above all) talk about the Rossoneri's future.

JUVENTUS, ALL ABOUT PEPITO.
IT'S ALSO A CONFLICT WITH INTER ON THE MARKET.
TODAY MEETING WITH SAMP FOR POLI AND GASTALDELLO.

Giuseppe Marotta isn't even hiding anymore: "It's true, we're on Giuseppe Rossi" he said in Bardonecchia, where Juventus are having their pre-season training camp. Contacts with Pepito's entourage have been going on for days, and by the end of the week, Marotta could leave for Vila – Real, where he will present an offer to the managers of the Yellow Submarine. Rumors speak of 25 million in cash, plus a technical counterpart to be defined (Motta?). Waiting for news on Vucinic (who will meet Sabatini on Wednesday in Rome), the other hot name of the moment is Arturo Vidal, the Chilean midfielder of Bayer Leverkusen. “Yes, there is the possibility of coming to Juve – said the player from the retreat in Chile – but I will decide after the Copa America. I have to think about my future and the Bianconeri's offer is really a great opportunity”. Words with honey, but beware of Inter. The Nerazzurri are looking for a midfielder, and Vidal is receiving much support in Corso Vittorio Emanuele. Juve seem to have the advantage, but Inter can play a card that the black and whites don't have: the Champions League. In addition, the Nerazzurri have already carried out some polls with Felicevich, the Chilean's agent.
We'll talk about it again in a few days, meanwhile Marotta is ready to leave for Genoa, where today he will meet the director of Sampdoria Sensibile. Juventus wants Poli and Gastaldello, central defender, who could arrive in Turin given the difficulties in buying Matias Silvestre (Genoa is on him).

MANCHESTER UNITED PREPARES THE OFFER.
SNEIJDER: INTER DECIDED THIS WEEK.

Wesley Sneijder could really leave Inter. Manchester are on him
United and Malaga, ready to pour a mountain of money into Inter's coffers. That's why the Nerazzurri have already given their willingness to negotiate the sale of the Dutch player, subject, of course, to a reasonable offer. The Sheikh's Malaga had already put 35 million on the plate, but, for the moment, Sneijder doesn't seem attracted by the prospect of playing in a club on the fringes of world football (despite the fact that they have offered him a three-year contract at 8 million a season). Manchester United, however, is different. Sir Alex Ferguson's club is one of the most glorious in the world, and the Scottish coach is also looking for Scholes' replacement. Sfumato Nasri (the other goal will end up at City), only Sneijder remains. If United offer 35/40 million, the deal will be done.

REsounding ZAMPARINI: "A BIG ITALIAN WANTS SHEPHERD"
BUT IT'S NOT ABOUT NAPLES...OR IS IT?

Maurizio Zamparini never ceases to amaze. Yesterday he took the floor in the Palermo training camp, reiterating once again the imminent transfer of Pastore: “99% of him will go away, there are 5 teams on him. One is Italian, but it's not Napoli, nor Juventus...". Sensational declarations, which if they correspond to reality, could lead El Flaco to Milan or Inter. At the moment, however, the Naples track remains hot: if Lavezzi were to leave in the direction of Manchester, a replacement would be needed, the same if it were Marek Hamsik to pack his bags. This is why the Naples hypothesis cannot be completely ignored.

NAPLES, FINALLY INLER!
SANCHEZ: BARCELONA TRY AGAIN

Gokhan Inler is no longer a Udinese player. Guidolin confirmed it yesterday, and so everything suggests that the signing with Napoli will arrive today. The deal, which the clubs closed some time ago on the basis of 18 million, has been stalled until today due to the issue of image rights, which Napoli would like to be able to manage 100% (thus forcing the Swiss to give up the money of sponsors). In the end, Inler seems to have accepted De Laurentiis' proposal, so today, barring sensational twists, he will become a new blue player.
However, it will still take some time to see the end of the Sanchez telenovela. Barcelona continues the negotiations with Udinese, blocked due to the lack of a technical counterpart appreciated by the Friulians. The novelty is that today the Blaugrana managers will meet Soriano (Barcelona B striker), to propose a transfer to Udine. The Spaniard seemed to be one step away from Salzburg, but at the last moment the Catalans blocked everything. Roma also liked Soriano, but Guardiola had said no. Evidently, however, Barcelona are willing to do anything to get to Sanchez.

ROME, NOW IT'S THE GOALKEEPER'S TURN.
KAMENI PASSED STEKELENBURG.

After the purchase of Lamela (12 million plus bonuses, for a total of 19,6 million), Roma are ready to solve the goalkeeper puzzle, Ceduto Doni to Liverpool, Sabatini seemed very close to Stekelenburg. But yesterday there was the overtaking of Kameni. Luis Enrique (and his deputy De la Pena) likes the Cameroonian goalkeeper from Espanyol a lot, but above all, he costs less than the Dutchman. With the Spaniards the deal would close at 4 million, while Ajax are asking for at least 9 to sell Stekelenburg. Roma seem to have chosen the path of savings, to then concentrate on buying a defender and a midfielder. The first could be Simon Kjaer, Danish ex Palermo, now at Wolfsburg, but Ogbonna from Turin is also liked. But both cost (12 Kjaer, 15 Ogbonna), which is why, apart from any transfers, Sabatini will try to save money on the goalkeeper to keep resources for the market.

LAZIO, HITCHES FOR CISSE'.
LEONARDO SAID YES TO PSG.

Lazio fans will have to wait a few more days before embracing Dijbrill Cissè. In fact, Panathinaikos asked for further bank guarantees, before agreeing to sell the attacker. However, the operation should not be at risk: the agreement is already there, on the basis of 6 million euros. Even Cissè has already done everything with Lotito, and he is just waiting for the OK from the Greek executives (which could arrive at any moment).
More or less the same situation as Leonardo with Paris Saint Germain. Yesterday the Equipe confirmed that the agreement is now total (unlike what the Brazilian said last week). The day of the signing should be Wednesday, then Leonardo's era as manager at PSG will officially begin.
