I labor data coming from the United States give impetus to the stock exchanges. After a morning of waiting, the main European markets accelerate upwards in the early afternoon: Milano e Paris + 0,6% Frankfurt + 0,7% London + 0,5%.

The markets appreciate the numbers released in the early afternoon by the US Department of Labor. Last month in the US they were created 148 thousand jobs, less than the 180 expected by analysts. As for the unemployment rate, fell to 7,2%, while economists had expected a zero change at 7,3%.

In the past, positive data on the American economy were interpreted negatively by the stock exchanges, because it was feared that any improvement would bring the prospect of tapering closer, i.e. the gradual interruption until the stop of Quantitave easing, the package of support measures guaranteed by the federal Reserve. However, the election of Janet Yellen as president of the American Central Bank has distanced this prospect.

Meanwhile, in Piazza Affari shines the title of Pirelli (+5,10%), after the announcement of the early termination of the shareholders' agreement. The company becomes contestable and there are rumors of interest from the German Continental on the market. The dissolution of the Bicocca government pact, said Marco Tronchetti Provera. goes in the direction of a company with widespread shareholding and should meet with the consent of the shareholders.

Fiat +3,2% in the wake of rumors according to which Veba, the health fund for American workers in the auto sector, would need to collect Chrysler's minority stake of 41,5% quickly and at maximum value in order to reduce debt and cover the deficit. "We expect a valuation of between 4 and 4,5 billion dollars, or rather halfway between the Veba requests and the Fiat offer", notes Intermonte.

Telecom Italy back in slightly positive territory, after a morning in the red. There CDP guarantees "open doors" for a possible investment in the company's fixed network, but according to some rumors reported by the Bloomberg agency website, Telecom Italia plans to interrupt the spin-off proposal. In the next board meeting of November 7, the board of the telecommunications company would like to renounce the plan approved in May.

The worst title of the Ftse Mib is that of Buzzi Unicem (-1,6%), after Crédit Suisse cut the target price to 11 euros.
