Il Conte bis government it's done. Today the delegations of the Five Stars and the Democratic Party will go up at the Quirinal to report to the President of the Republic, Sergio Mattarella, the state of the negotiations which in the next few days, barring last-minute surprises, will see the birth of the Conte bis, to which the explicit endorsement of US President Donald Trump.
Cinque Stelle and Pd have found the square and, together with Conte, are preparing to define the ministerial formation, but remain two rocks.
PROBLEM #1: DI MAIO WANTS TO REMAIN MINISTER AND VICE-PREMIER
The first is represented by psychodrama by Luigi Di Maio, as Stefano Folli writes today in Repubblica. Di Maio, in addition to being a symbol of the failed Lega-M5S government, pays for his unbridled ambition and his ambiguous tactics: he is not satisfied with becoming defense minister but would also like to keep the seat of deputy prime minister. Request inadmissible for the Pd, who has already had to accept the premiership of Giuseppe Conte and who he would like a deputy prime minister all to himself, for which the name of the incorruptible is made Dario Franceschini. THE TOTOMINISTERS
Apart from these two loose mines, the Conte bis is heading towards his debut, even if all the squares of the governing team remain to be fixed. According to the latest rumors, the totoministri expects that Internal (running the prefects Gabrielli and Morcone or the former minister Minniti) ed World (Amendola, Belloni or even Fassino) go to the Democratic Party, DEFENSE (DiMaio), Justice (Bonafede) e Institutional reforms (Fraccaro) to the Five Stars, while the Economy, on the advice of Conte and Mattarella himself, could remain with Minister Tria. They remain to be defined Economical progress (which could go to De Micheli of the Democratic Party), the Work (which Di Maio would like to keep but Delrio of the Democratic Party is also in the running) and the Infrastructure, from which Toninelli will certainly be fired but which remains in the balance between Patuanelli (M5S) and Delrio (Pd), if he does not go to work. GENTILONI, RENTI AND ZINGARETTI
