The presentation of the book "Il Banchiere Galantuomo", written by Giorgio A Chiarva and published by Gangemi Editore, will be held on Thursday 18 October in Rome at the Banco Bpm headquarters.

The presentation of the book will be held on Thursday 18 October in Rome, at the headquarters of Banco Bpm (Palazzo Altieri, Piazza del Gesù n.49) "The Gentleman Banker", written by Giorgio A Chiarva and edited by Gangemi Editore.

The event was organized by the Institute of Banking Culture "Francesco Parrillo" and the Cultural Association Visions and Illusions.

The presentation of the book by the author himself will be followed by a debate coordinated by Ernesto Auci, president of FIRSTonline. Speakers will include: Pierluigi Ciocca, economist and historian, former deputy general manager of the Bank of Italy, Giuseppe De Lucia Lumeno, general secretary of the National Association of Popular Banks, Mario Cataldo, vice president of the "Francesco Parrillo" Institute of Banking Culture, Giuliano Montaldo, director, screenwriter, actor and president of Visions and Illusions.

The "Gentleman Banker" tells the life of Amedeo Peter Giannini, son of emigrants in California who at the age of only 32 founded the Bank of Italy which forty years later will be the leader of the largest banking group of all time.
