It will be held tomorrow, Tuesday 18 June, at the Rome headquarters of theICE agency, the seminar "European Union and Cooperation with the Western Balkans: Perspectives and Opportunities".
The speakers at the meeting will be: Roberto luongo, Director General of the ICE Agency, Lucio Battistotti, Director of the Representation in Italy of the European Commission, Paula DiSalvatore, head of the Managing Authority of the IPA Adriatic Program established in the Abruzzo Region, as well as representatives of the Directorate General for Enlargement of the European Commission.
During the seminar, the prospects and business opportunities for Italian companies in the markets of the Balkan area will be analyzed and the initiatives and tools put in place by the European Commission to support collaboration with these markets will be presented. Specifically, the program will be illustratedIPA IIwhich offers reform assistance to states engaged in the EU accession process; this program will enter into force on 1 January 2014 and will be financed with approximately 14 billion euros.
