IBM sales down beyond all expectations

Surprise drop for IBM. Between July and September, sales fell by 4%, worse than analysts' expectations.

The American giant has not recorded increases since the fourth quarter of 2011. The company's net revenues, however, still maintain the plus sign and grow by 6%, reaching 4 billion dollars.

The hardware division experienced a particularly weak quarter, with sales in free fall -17%.
