Iberia, 4.500 jobs cut

The plan announced by Iag, the holding company that controls the Spanish airline, aims to "save Iberia after the record losses" in the third quarter (262 million at an operating level).

Iberia, 4.500 jobs cut

International Airlines Group (IAG), parent company of the British airline British Airways and the Spanish Iberiahe announced the suppression of 4.500 jobs in Madrid society, which is "fighting for its survival".

The plan announced by IAG (International Airlines Group) aims to "save Iberia after the record losses" in the third quarter (262 million at an operating level) and will allow "to safeguard another 15.500 jobs" in the Spanish company. 

IAG also announced a 24% decrease in third-quarter net profits to 202 million euros and a net loss of 39 million over nine months, due to Iberia's losses.
