The third quarter of Iag, the holding company that brings together British Airwyas and Iberia, ends with an operating profit of 690 million, more than doubled compared to 270 million in the third quarter of 2012, compiling a result that positively surprised analysts.
The profit of the subsidiaries is growing: that of Iberia has gone from 1 million to 74 million, while that of British Airways has increased to 477 million, from 268 in the third quarter of last year. The low-cost Vielung contributed 139 million.
