In the third quarter, Huawei's consumer division (mobile phones and tablets) reported the sale of more than 32 million devices (16,8 million smartphones alone), an increase of 26% compared to the same period of the previous year.
The Chinese cellular group reported a 162% year-on-year growth in the proportion of mid-range and high-end devices. The sales of the Asian company recorded a real surge in the Middle East and Africa (+322%), but also, to a lesser extent, in Asia-Pacific (98%) and Latin America (51%).
