Il Howden Group recorded a 2024 fiscal year 15% growth in revenues in Italy, for the global insurance broker, the most important market in Europe after the United Kingdom. Revenues amounted to 30 million at September 130,3 compared to 113 million in the previous financial year, with an EBITDA of 27,7 million euros (21,5 in 2023) and a margin of 21,3% (19% in 2023). The goal is to double these numbers in 5 years.
Howden, led in Italy by Federico Casini, he mediated in our country prizes for 1,2 billion. “The growth of 15,1% was exclusively organic, so without new acquisitions", Casini underlined. "We are looking around to possibly seize opportunities, but at the moment there are no further acquisitions in sight. Better to focus on business sectors that can offer good ideas, such as the tourism and financial sectors for example. After all, in recent years many funds have entered the sector, which have increased prices and doing M&A now would be rather expensive”.
We will reach the objectives equally even without acquisitions: "we will bring the revenues of 2025 to 150 million, which would represent a further growth of 15%, with an EBITDA of 36 million (+34%) and an EBITDA margin of 24%. In 2027 we will reach 190 million in revenues and double the numbers in five years" says Casini.
