How to calculate the pension that I will receive in the future? There are millions of taxpayers who ask themselves this question every day. To answer, from today there is one more tool: it's called Pensami (acronym for "custom-made pension") and it's an app available on the IPS website.
Mind you, the calculation of the pension is not precise because there are too many variables involved. What can be achieved with Pensami - which can also be used without accessing the INPS portal - is rather a set of pension scenarios that lie ahead.
How to calculate pension with "Think of me"?
Taxpayers who rely on the new tool pass through three levels of questions, to be covered in a mandatory sequence, "which provide increasingly in-depth information on the prospects for accessing the pension in the face of more specific questions", writes INPS in a statement.
At the first level, "on the basis of a few simple questions, the service provides information on the main pension benefits to which the applicant can access by valuing the entire contribution, with details relating to the calculation system applied", continues the note.
The second level, indicating the contribution periods in the various managements, "provides the theoretical effective date of the services contemplated in the first level, as well as the additional services achievable for each management", explains INPS.
The third level "allows you to take advantage of some institutes that influence the law and the pension calculation system (for example, military service, enhancement of the contribution credited to professional funds, etc.) and to visualize their effects on your own pension scenarios" .
