Set a realistic euro exchange rate target to protect the economic interests of the Eurozone. This is the recipe French President Francois Hollande, who spoke to journalists after a speech in the European Parliament: "We must determine in the medium term the exchange rate that seems to us more realistic, more compatible with the situation of our real economy".
Hollande then went on to compare the European situation to that of other countries: "Some countries like the United States or China use exchange rates to support their growth, so we too must act internationally to enforce the our interests".
