Hollande corrects the shot after the denial on the meeting with Spain: immediately implement EU decisions

France corrects the shot after yesterday's denial on the joint appeal made with Spain which called for the immediate implementation of the anti-crisis agreements made by European leaders at the recent summit in Brussels. This morning the French president, François Hollande, during the council of ministers, in fact insisted on the need "to implement firmly and rapidly" the decisions taken at the EU summit in June.

“We reaffirmed our willingness to implement fully and quickly the decisions taken at the European Council of 28 and 29 June”, the ministers of the economy of France and Spain Luis De Guindos and Pierre Moscovici wrote in a joint statement. “The current level of rates on the sovereign debt markets do not reflect the fundamentals of the Spanish economy, its growth potential and the sustainability of its public debt”, add De Guindos and Moscovici, announcing “a road map for an economic and real finance, with ambitious proposals to create the conditions for solidarity and at the same time for integration".
