Swedish clothing group Hennes&Mauritz, better known as H&M, has registered 3% year-on-year growth in June, still positive despite the crisis but lower than expectations, which amounted to 5%.
Again in June, however, sales increased on an annual basis by 13%, and also in this case the Reuters forecasts spoke of an improvement of 14%.
As regards the quarterly trend, in the first three months of the year (result confirmed up to May), total sales grew by 13%, while those in shops open for at least a year by 3%.
H&M is the second clothing chain in the world behind Inditex-Zara and at the end of June it announced it was present in 44 markets with exactly 2.596 points of sale.
