As reported by the Swedish newspaper Svenska Dagbladet, the Swedish fashion giant H&M (acronym of Hennes & Mauritz AB), would have decided to introduce a intelligence test for his employees in order to evaluate who to keep and who to fire.

The union representative Union, Robin Olofsson allegedly told Svenska Dagbladet that she had received phone calls from H&M employees in which they said they had supported up to 30 different tests. The goal would be to assess the intelligence level, personality type and skills of employees. Once completed the test the company will analyze it and thus choose the most suitable candidate eligible for dismissal. The layoffs will become effective after all workers are tested for intelligence (probably by the end of the summer). According to Olofsson, many employees who have already taken the test have called him in tears, reporting high levels of stress and anxiety.
