There are 477 thousand les assumptions di highly specialised planned by companies for October and 1,2 million for the quarter October December, with a decrease compared to the previous year of 5,4% in the month and 10,4% in the quarter. The negative perspectives, due to the slowdown of the global and European economy linked mainly to high energy prices, inflation and the geopolitical situation, weigh more on business recruitment programs manufacturing (-28,0% in the month and -26,5% in the quarter), trade (-5,8% in the month and -11,2% in the quarter) and business services (-8,6% in the month and -15,1% in the quarter). In all of this, it continues to grow finding difficulty reported by companies, which affects 45,5% of planned hirings, a figure that is up 9% on an annual basis.

Recruitments in October: construction increases, manufacturing hurts
The iindustry program in October 147 thousand hires and 370 thousand for the quarter October December. Both in the month and in the quarter, the greatest job opportunities are offered by the companies of construction which plan respectively 53 and 131 new contracts (+2,2% and +3,9% compared to the same period of 2021). For all sectors of the manufacturing negative forecasts are recorded compared to October 2021: -33,3% for chemistry-rubber-plastics, -30,4% metallurgy, -28,7% mechanics and electronics. THE services plan a total of 330 hires in the month and 850 in the quarter, thanks above all to the forecasts, still growing compared to 2021, of the tourism businesses with 70 hires in October (+37,4% compared to the 2021 forecasts) and 184 hires in the October-December quarter (10,9% compared to 2021).
Work, hirings in October: greater decline for companies in the North West
At the territorial level, these are the companies of the northwest to record the greatest decrease in planned hirings both in the month (-17 thousand units) and in the quarter (-54 thousand). Then follow the companies of the North part East (-6 thousand in the month and -38 thousand in the quarter), those of South and islands (-2 thousand in the month and -30 thousand in the quarter) and finally those of downtown (-2 thousand in the month and -18 thousand in the quarter).
Fixed-term contracts still dominate
I fixed-term contracts the most proposed form is confirmed with 246 thousand units, equal to 51,5% of the total, although down compared to October 2021 when it represented 55,8% of the total. Followed by i permanent contracts (94 thousand units, 19,7%), those under administration (50 thousand, 10,5%), other non-employee contracts (39 thousand, 8,1%). Apprenticeships are proposed for 25 hires (5,3%), while collaboration contracts and other types of employment contracts are indicated for 23 hires (4,9%).
