The French luxury group reached 2,44 billion euros at the end of September, with sales mainly driven by Asia.

Hermès, 2012 turnover soars: +22,7%

The turnover of Hermès: at the end of the third quarter of the year, the French luxury group reached 2,44 billion euros, up 22,7% year on year at current exchange rates.

In the third quarter alone, sales rose by 24,2%, driven in particular by Asia (+24,2% with China, Singapore and Hong Kong in the lead), but also by Europe (+18%), America (+11%) and France itself (+13%).

The sectors that recorded the best results are clothing and accessories (+21%) and watches (+16%). The turnover growth target for 2012 is estimated to be over 13%.
