Herambiente has completed the acquisition of the Ecoenergy business unit for around 10,5 million euro, thus giving birth to Herambiente Recuperi. The company's activity takes place in Castiglione delle Stiviere and consists of the mechanical treatment of over 100.000 tons of waste every year, to be transformed into fuel.
With this transaction, the Hera Group subsidiary confirms its position as market leader in the process of recovering material and energy from waste, completing the value chain downstream of the usual treatment process. Ecoenergy has an annual turnover of 10 million euros and a portfolio of about 600 customers.
