Hera: 9-month net profit -5,2%, to 79,6 million

The revenues of the Emilian multiservice company instead rose to 3.322 million, for an increase of 14,5% compared to the same period of 2011 – EBITDA reached 473,6 million (+1,5%), above all thanks to the gas area.

The group Hera closes the first nine months of the year with a net profit down by 5,2%, at 79,6 million euro. The revenues of the Emilia-based multiservice company instead rose to 3.322 million, for an increase of 14,5% compared to the same period of 2011. The increase is mainly linked to the higher volumes of gas distributed and sold, in addition to the increase in the price of raw materials (including electricity).

EBITDA reached 473,6 million (+1,5%), mainly thanks to the gas area in the first half. The operating result settled at 242,6 million (+0,9%), while the pre-tax profit dropped to 147,1 million (-5,8%).

The financial situation – they say from the company – remained substantially in balance, in line with what was defined in the business plan. Gross operating investments reached 183,8 million, while the net financial position stood at 2.114,9 million, up on the 1.987,1 million at the end of 2011.

At the beginning of the afternoon, Hera's stock dropped 1,8%.
