Hera: profits rise (+27%) and EBITDA (+8,9%)

The company points out that the good performance of the liberalized electricity market more than compensated for the effect of the drop in volumes due to the economic situation.

Ivy archives the first nine months of 2014 with a gross operating margin of 632,7 million, up 8,9% year on year. This was announced by the Bolognese multiutility itself, specifying that the Operating income stood at 312,9 million, up 11,1%, while theadjusted net profit it recorded a jump of 27,3%, to 124,8 million.

As for the revenues, fell by 8,7%, to 2.995,8 million, due to the unfavorable climatic effects of the first four months of the year. The report includes the contribution of AcegasAps and Amga Udine, which became part of the Hera group on 2013 January 2014 and XNUMX July XNUMX, respectively.

The company points out that the good performance of the liberalized electricity market more than offset the effect of the drop in volumes sold due to the economic situation. Finally, Hera underlines the "good contribution to the growth ofwater, thanks to the recovery of efficiency and the progressive alignment of tariffs to full coverage of costs".

In the mid-afternoon, Hera's stock dropped 1,77%, a 2,00 euro.
