Hera announced that the integration between the natural gas distribution activities of Inrete and CMV Servizi and between the energy sales activities of Hera Comm and CMV Energia e Impianti will be completed within the first three months of 2019. The board of directors of the companies involved had given the go-ahead on 24 October.
The operation will involve a total of around 25 customers (21.300 gas and 3.500 electricity) and 30 redelivery points for the distribution of natural gas (26.500 in the Ferrara area and over 3.100 in the Bologna area).
The agreement provides for the maintenance of both the current personnel employed in the two business lines of CMV Servizi and CMV Energia e Impianti, and of the territorial offices, which will see a convergence with respect to the other activities of the Hera group in the same territory.
"The Ferrara area is a territory to which we are historically linked and this double operation allows us to consolidate our presence in the area - said Stefano Venier, CEO of the Hera group - Our goal is to extend a business model to the province of Ferrara which, over time, has proven to bring benefits to all its interlocutors, public and private".
