Hera, possible new acquisitions in the North-East

Hera, which from 2013 January 360 will integrate Acegas-Aps, although it is fully involved in the management of the merger, is continuing to monitor the possibility of completing other acquisitions in the medium term. In particular, according to what Milano Finanza writes, the idea seems to be to use the merger with Acegas-Aps as a bridgehead for further expansion in the North-East, where the universe of utilities is still highly fragmented.

According to rumors, Hera may in fact have already targeted small energy companies such as Etra (operating in the Brenta area) and CVS (active in the provinces of Vicenza and Padua). On the other hand, it is more complex to involve larger companies such as Agsm Verona and Aim Vicenza, given that the Verona company aims to be itself an aggregating pole between the various local realities.
