Hera among the Top Employers for the ninth consecutive year

The recognition comes from the Dutch Top Employers Institute which, since 1991, has been conducting research focused on quality standards in terms of working conditions in the world's leading companies.

The recognition comes from the Dutch Top Employers Institute which, since 1991, has been conducting research focused on quality standards in terms of working conditions in the world's leading companies.

To qualify for the confirmation of the "Top Employers" certification, according to the Dutch institute, "the excellent working conditions offered to employees, the training and development policies spread at all company levels, the HR management strategies" , which make Hera a company "committed to continuous improvement of policies and best practices".

The certification process is based on an analysis of objective data and in-depth checks. Among the parameters analysed, investments in training and development, welfare policies and on-boarding policies for new hires, careful planning of selection and career processes, strategies aimed at developing talent, culture company and the stimulating and constructive work environment. Only companies that meet the high standards required can be admitted to the list of Top Employers.

In Italy, this year, there are 90 certified companies, including the Hera Group, the first multi-utility to participate in the project since 2010 and among the 11 companies to have continuously obtained recognition. In particular, the company stood out for the "Hextra" integrated company welfare plan, active since July 2016 for the almost 9.000 employees of the Group and characterized by a quota of resources that can be "customised" by each worker according to their needs, as well as by the possibility introduced in 2018 to convert one's performance bonus into an additional welfare portion; for measures aimed at promoting work-life balance (smart working, leave or absence management policies and related support when returning to the company), for development policies and awareness-raising activities on health and safety issues and well-being aimed at the entire company population.
