Il Hera Group, through the subsidiary Acantho, and the Ascopiave group have completed, at the headquarters of Asco Holding in Pieve di Soligo (TV), theacquisition of 92% of the shares of Asco TLC, with shares of 36,8% and 55,2% respectively.
The closing follows theaward at the end of November 2022 of the public procedure called by Asco Holding and the following signed on 29 December 2022 of the relative contractual documentation between the Hera Group and the Ascopiave Group.
This partnership represents a strategic step in the evolution of the business portfolio of the two groups, in line with the industrial plans of the two groups. The acquisition is also the first step of a potentially broader operation which would lead, through the merger by incorporation of Asco into Acantho, to the birth of a multi-regional operator.
The details of the operation
The purchase price, settled in cash, is equal to 37,2 million euros. Ascopiave e Acanthoin partnerships with shares of 60% and 40% respectively, they had passed the selection process launched last April by Asco Holding and, after the due diligence phase to which they were invited at the end of July, they jointly presented the binding offer on November 3rd.

Asco Tlc is a company active since 2001 in the provision of ICT services mainly to corporate customers and public administrations, has a territorial network of property located in Veneto and Friuli-Venezia Giulia for over 2.200 km of fiber optic backbones, 56 radio broadcasting bridges and 24 xDSL exchanges in unbundling and supplies its services to over 2.700 customers.
