Hera, from Cdm 21 million for energy efficiency

Savings are coming for Municipalities where public lighting is managed by Hera Luce. The Hera Group company and Cassa depositi e prestiti have, in fact, signed a long-term loan of approximately 21 million euro, intended for energy efficiency investments in the public lighting of Municipalities.

The loan is made up of two lines of credit: the first intended for concessions already signed, the second made available for investments in new concessions which are expected to be signed in 2016. The lines expire in December 2032 and December 2033, respectively.

The initiative will allow the Municipalities significant expected savings, estimated at at least 60% of electricity consumed and a similar reduction in CO2 emissions.

The transaction underlines the importance that energy efficiency has for Cassa depositi e prestiti, whose new Business Plan provides for constant attention to initiatives in the sector in favor of the Public Administrations. For the Hera Group this project is part of a constant commitment in the area in the field of energy efficiency and innovation.
