Hera continues to grow, profit up 28,6%

In a day full of quarterly reports, the accounts for the first nine months of 2017 approved by the Hera group stand out, confirming the growth phase of the current year, with all the main economic-financial indicators showing further improvement, in line with the forecasts of the plan industrial.

The results as at 30 September benefited from the entry into the scope of the Group of the companies Aliplast and Gran Sasso, in addition to the awarding of tenders for last resort, default and safeguard gas supply services for the two-year period 2017-2018.

Turning to the figures, revenues rose 11,4% to $4,027 billion. The same percentage increase for the gross operating margin, which grew to 724,7 million.

Net profit settled at 182,9 million, up by 28,6%, while the net financial position amounted to 2,6 billion euro, a slight improvement compared to the first half of 2017 and substantially stable compared to the 2,558 billion of the 31 December 2016, considering the financing of dividend distribution and M&A operations. Good contribution to growth from all businesses and in particular from the energy sector.

After the publication of the quarterly report, in Piazza Affari the share gained 0,07% to 2,88 euros against a fall in the FtseMib which lost 0,74%.
