Il Hera Group, through the subsidiary Energy Distribution Network, completed theacquisition of the Soelia business unit relating to systems, networks natural gas distribution and related management services.
The operation follows the awarding of the tender announced by Soelia, which took place on May 15th, which allowed Inrete Distribuzione Energia to also acquire one 2,85% stake in Sinergas, held by Soelia. Soelia is a multiservice company entirely 100% owned by the Municipality of Argenta (Fe).
This agreement strengthens the presence of the Hera Group in its territory, guaranteeing high standards of quality, continuity and safety of services. Furthermore, it consolidates the Group's presence in the municipal area of Argenta (Fe), where it already operates with the integrated water service.
The details of the agreement
From 1 July 2024, the company Inrete Distribuzione Energia will take over then to Soelia in the gas distribution service in the municipality of Argenta. Inrete has acquired, in fact, the Soelia gas distribution network, which serves approximately 10.000 PDR in the municipal area of Argenta with a plant equipment that includes: approximately 240 km of pipelines, 5 high to medium pressure reduction and measurement systems, 1 second stage cabin and 44 zone cabins for low pressure reduction.
Inrete Distribuzione Energia will take over the related management under an extension regime, with the commitment to keep the staff of the business unit acquired from Soelia unchanged.
