Hera Group and Federdistribuzione join forces for a more sustainable and efficient future. The national association that represents modern distribution companies and the Italian multi-utility have signed two memoranda of understanding, lasting three years, to collaborate on projects aimed atThe circular economy andenergy efficiency.
In detail, the agreements provide for the opportunity to develop specific initiatives mainly in the territories in which the multi-utility operates - therefore in Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Marche - also with joint information and involvement activities that will reach customers . Thus the member companies that join will be able to count on a single interlocutor and targeted projects based on their needs, also in line with the projects of the PNRR.
As part of the agreements, the Hera Group will support the companies associated with Federdistribuzione in the study and implementation of energy efficiency interventions targeted on the basis of their needs, to also allow economic savings and protect the environment, for example through the reduction of emissions .
Furthermore, it will also provide assistance for access to incentive systems, which often involve rather complex procedures, such as white certificates, negotiable certificates which certify the achievement of savings in energy end uses through interventions and projects to increase energy efficiency.
