Hera: 300 new hires with energy transition training, project with ManpowerGroup at the start

Recruitments in the Hera group. The company is launching a talent acquisition campaign, in partnership with ManpowerGroup to hire new resources after a training course which will allow them to consolidate their skills, also thanks to the Group's Corporate University and the use of advanced structures such as the training center in Ferrara.

The training courses and the first placements will already start in the month of October. According to the schedule, by 2023 they will be about 300 resources involved, who will then be hired in the various areas of the multi-utility or by supplier companies that support the group in the management of their services. "This project therefore strengthens the Hera Group's commitment to developing the areas served in terms of recruitment: in 2021 alone there were around 650 new hires, including 150 traineeships", underlines the company in a note.

Hera recruitment: what the project involves and how to apply

The path sees the involvement of Hera group and ManpowerGroup, through its own companies Manpower and Experis, throughout the entire selection process: from application to placement.

How does it work? It will be possible to apply through the dedicated page at the address https://www.manpower.it/azienda/hera.

After an initial evaluation phase, the identified profiles will participate in a dedicated training course, accompanied both by trainers from ManpowerGroup and by professionals within the Hera group. At the end of the learning path, placement is expected through an apprenticeship or permanent contract.

Training in Ferrara

The training of most of the operational profiles will take place in the multifunctional structure of the Hera group in Ferrara. The complex of classrooms and corners dedicated to practical application and "field" experimentation was created in an area which for some years it had remained unused and which now, thanks to a studied restructuring, has become one of the very first spaces available for technical training in Italy.

“With this new project – he says Tomaso Tommasi of Vignano, executive chairman of the Hera group – we confirm the importance we attach not only to people training, but above all we aim to structure a highly personalized path for each talent tailored to its specific characteristics, thus investing in people's employability: from acquired skills to those to be strengthened. It is a commitment that we have always pursued and which responds to a broader conviction: that the enhancement of the people who work in the group is a way of guaranteeing the growth and solidity of the company and, at the same time, generating positive effects for the territories served. We are also aware of the importance of new skills in overcoming the challenges of the energy transition and the consequent evolution of the labor market. We therefore want to keep innovation high in our selection processes and this project is an example of that".

“The Pnrr dedicates over 25 billion euros of investments to the energy transition alone – he declares Anna Gionfriddo, managing director of ManpowerGroup- And one of the fundamental ingredients for winning this challenge is the availability for companies of professionals with solid and constantly updated skills. Continuous training is in fact an essential aspect of the present and future of work, both for companies and for individuals. We at ManpowerGroup are ready to support the innovation and ecological transition of Italian companies, as well as the upskilling and reskilling of professional figures".
