Hedge funds prefer Microsoft, Facebook and 10 Italian companies

According to the Factset institute, the 50 major hedge funds have decided to leave the pharmaceutical and biotech sector and focus on food and large-scale retail - Microsoft is the stock most present in portfolios, followed by Facebook, but in recent times hedges have bought Yahoo and Nike – Ten of the most popular Italian companies

No more shares of pharmaceutical and biotech companies, but purchases of shares of thefeed and of supermarkets, cyclical par excellence. This is the portfolio policy followed in the second quarter of 2016 by the top 50 hedge funds of the world, according to a survey carried out by the American research institute Factset.

The managers, who had to face in July a boom in redemptions, they jumped in the late spring especially on Nike e Yahoo. But at the individual stock level, the most present in hedge portfolios remains Microsoft, Followed by Facebook and Allergan.

If you look instead at the market value, they are at the top of the investment rankings of international managers at the end of June kraft Heinz, Amazon, Charter Communications, Facebook, Microsoft, Icahn Enterprises, Allergan, Comcast Corporation, You c, A (Google) Priceline, Teva, Yahoo, Mondelez International, American International e Humana.

The shares of Italian companies are also very popular and in particular of the following 10: Ansaldo Sts, Eni, Snam, Buzzi Unicem, Leonardo-Finmeccanica, Intesa Sanpaolo, Rest, Italcemeneti, Yoox Net-A-Porter e bpm.
